Karin Suero is a former HR member of The New York Public Library, the nation’s largest library system, and The New Jewish Home, one of the largest and most diversified nonprofit geriatric care systems in the country. Most recently she was the Director of Operations and Engagement for The Legal Aid Society. Karin holds a B.S. in Business Management and an MBA. She has over 20 years of experience in the areas of Public Service, Community Engagement, and Human Resources, including Recruitment, Benefits, Employee Engagement, Labor Relations, Professional Development, and Union Negotiations.

She is a recipient of the 2016 Breaking Barriers Award Issued by The Metropolitan Placement Consortium and Baruch CCVIP · The award is presented to outstanding employers for expanding employment opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities. In her spare time, Karin volunteers as a career coach and Advisory member.

Karin is an American citizen born in Peru and is proud of her South American Incan Heritage. She is an advocate of human rights and immigrant rights and is thrilled to join an organization where her skills and experience can further those goals.
