Saraí has over a decade of experience in the field of communications. Before joining LatinoJustice, she was the communications director for an immigrant & workers' justice organization in New Mexico. She also served as the communications director for Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (NM-02) campaign in 2018.

Prior to that, she was a reporter for Telemundo New Mexico. Saraí was born and raised in the border city of El Paso, Texas, where she obtained her first job post-college at KFOX 14 as an assignments’ editor/producer. Saraí is an alumna of Our Lady of the Lake University, she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Journalism & Communications.
