LatinoJustice Statement on Reports of Voter Intimidation at Seminole County, Florida, Poll Sites

Following reports of voter intimidation and verbal attacks of voters exercising their constitutional right at polling sites in Seminole County, Florida, Roberto Cruz, Managing Attorney at LatinoJustice PRLDEF's Southeast Office, issued the following statement:

"These attacks on voters are an illegal and offensive attempt to silence fellow Americans, a blatant attack on our constitutional rights and our democracy – and they will not succeed. We see this playing out all over the country, especially in areas where Black and Latino voters are a decisive portion of the voting public. That’s not by accident.

"With a team of volunteers on the ground to assist and support Seminole County voters, LatinoJustice will continue to protect those who are targets of malicious, destructive attacks, voter intimidation and disinformation."
