Defending Workers’ Rights during COVID-19

In April 2020, we sent a demand letter to German grocer chain Lidl Supermarket, which requested that the company comply with CDC workplace safety guidelines, workers protections and hazard pay in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A group of workers represented by LatinoJustice have now filed a complaint with the NY State Attorney General seeking an investigation of the company’s compliance with labor protocols mandated for essential businesses.
