Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15th marked the start of the Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to celebrate and recognize Latinx history and contributions in the U.S.

We began the month by honoring the life of Felicitas Méndez, a fierce Latina leader who fought against school segregation and for the dignity of Latinos in the country.
