LatinoJustice Joins Op Ed Demanding NJ Redistricting Reform

For years now advocates, including LatinoJustice, have urged the New Jersey Legislature to pass real redistricting reform that would ensure that racial equity, transparency and public hearings are built into our redistricting process.

Instead, over and over, the majority has attempted to make the process more partisan. Now, they have pushed forward with a proposal that serves their personal interests in maintaining their seats.

This week LatinoJustice, along with the NJ Institute for Social Justice, The Inclusion Project, the NAACP NJ State Conference and others, co-signed an Op Ed, published on NJ Spotlight, demanding that the Legislature should pass meaningful reform.
