Through five decennial redistricting cycles, LatinoJustice PRLDEF has challenged gerrymandering and unfair electoral maps in Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. 

With the Asian American Legal Defense Fund and The Center for Law and Social Justice at Medgar Evers College, LatinoJustice PRLDEF is part of the Unity Map Coalition, which represents the interests of people of color in New York City. The Coalition has drawn and submitted to the New York Independent Redistricting Commission (NYIRC) city electoral maps that empower Black, Latino and Asian communities in the city to so they can elect candidates of their choice.
