Giving Tuesday, Building A More Just Society
GivingTuesday

On November 30th 2021, LatinoJustice is participating in #GivingTuesday, ushering in the season of giving with a call to generous supporters who want to invest in social and racial justice organizations as we work to help Latinx and broader BIPOC communities recover from the devastation of 2020-21 and build a new and more just society that finally, comprehensively addresses the racially-motivated inequities that continue to deny.

As we look forward to working across communities to reframe the concept of justice, grounding it in values of equity, access and fairness, we need your support. Our goal is to reverse the harms that have kept Latinx and BIPOC communities from enjoying the fruits of their labor and participating in American society equitably. This is even more critical today as Latinx workers man the front lines during the pandemic, serving as healthcare workers, educators, grocery clerks, activists and more, keeping or communities safe, healthy and well-stocked during the most devastating public health crisis in the past century.

Hear from some of these essential workers:

This means fighting for immigrants’ rights to live and work in this country without fear of discrimination or deportation. It means abolishing cages and leaning into restorative justice models that fully acknowledge human rights and dignity. It means ensuring the voting rights of millions of disenfranchised Americans and fostering full civic participation at the local, state and national levels. And it means continuing to foster leadership within Latinx communities, leveraging their inherent power to make the changes needed to create a more just society.
