Cecilia Gonzalez
Advocacy Coordinator for Voting Rights

Cecilia "Cece" Gonzalez (she/her) joined LatinoJustice as Advocacy Coordinator for Voting Rights out of the Southeast office in December 2023. Cecilia was born and raised in Venezuela and found a new home in Central Florida five years ago, since then she has advocated for immigration reform that includes a pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants, DACA recipients, TPS holders, and essential workers. She believes every person that comes to this country deserves to have access to the same opportunities.

Cece lives in Kissimmee, where she enjoys visiting local restaurants, running 5K to raise funds and awareness, and volunteering with the Girl Scouts and other groups in her community. Cecilia obtained her Associate in Arts from Valencia College and transferred to the University of Central Florida to obtain a bachelor's degree in Political Sciences. Cece is a lifelong advocate for a more inclusive America with real representation that looks more like its people: with more young people, more women, and more Latinx folks. Cece is very thankful to the community that welcomed her and her family when they moved from Venezuela and she looks forward to giving back to her community.
