As Deputy General Counsel at McKinsey & Company, I advise firm partners globally on legal and reputational issues, ensuring that the firm's business is conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and consistent with the firm's professional policies. I help lead, develop and mentor a global legal team and provide counsel on the wide variety of legal matters that a professional services firm will encounter, including client and third party commercial arrangements, acquisitions and partnerships, corporate matters and new office openings, expansion into new business models, professional liability, conflict resolution, and protection of the firm's brand. I began my career as a corporate associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, where I had a broad corporate practice with emphasis on international projects, including acquisitions, joint ventures, project financings and other cross-border transactions. I am deeply committed to partnering with business leaders to achieve strategic objectives while effectively managing risks. I serve on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York, a nonprofit that provides mentorship to children who need responsible adults in their lives.
